Our top tips for foot care
Our top tips for foot care
Your feet take the weight of your whole body, so foot problems can quickly lead to discomfort and even affect the way you walk.
Invest in a bit of time and thought into caring for your feet and some problems can be prevented.
Wash your feet everyday.
If dirt gets left on your feet it can quickly irritate the skin and even become infected. Wash your feet every night with soapand warm water.
Dry your feet thoroughly.
Dry your feet well after washing them. Concentrate especially between the toes where infections such as Athlete's foot can easily take hold.
Shop for shoes after lunch!
Your feet swell as the day goes on. Buying shoes in the morning may mean by the end of the day they may no longer be comfortable.
Limit those high heels.
If you have to wear high heels save them for special occasions only and if you wear them at work, wear comfortable shoes to and from the office.
Don't wear flip flops all the time.
This footwear does not provide any support for your feet and can often lead to arch and heel pain.
