What is a Foot Health Practitioner?

The foot health practitioner helps people to keep their feet healthy and is able to give advice on day to day foot care to ensure they are well looked after into old age.

Much of the work is routine and often requires repeat visits at regular intervals. In many cases, there is need for routine maintenance occasioned by diabetes mellitus, arthritic hands, eye troubles, obesity, pregnancy, etc.

Many patients will simply have difficulty reaching their feet for maintenance - others appreciate the assistance of a practitioner who they can trust to trim and maintain their nails properly.
